The closest metro stop is Model Town on the Yellow Line. A short auto ride will get you there quickly. 2. What are the studio timings?
We know that our clients have a lot to do so we made our class times work, for people who get up early and people who stay up late. If you want to know the times you should call us or look at our social media pages. We will be happy to give you our class schedule if you talk to us.
3. Do I need prior experience to join Pilates?
No! I really think Pilates is great. It is something that all people can do no matter how fit they are. If you are trying Pilates for the time or if you have been doing Pilates for a long time you are welcome to come to our studio. We use the BASI Pilates method. This method is good because our teachers can change each exercise to suit the person doing it. So you can try Pilates even if you have never done anything like it before. We want you to come and try Pilates. You do not need to be good at sports or anything, like that. All you need to do is be willing to learn Pilates.
4. What should I wear for a Pilates session?
When you are getting ready you should put on clothing that lets you move around easily. This is really important because your teacher needs to see how you are standing. You can choose to wear leggings or bike shorts with a top or a tee shirt these are choices. You need to wear clothing because it lets you move freely. Your teacher needs to see your posture so you should wear clothing that fits you well. Clothing that fits Dance clothing or Yoga clothing is an example of the type of clothing that lets you move around easily so clothing, like that is a good choice.

We definitely do this. One thing that makes us special at BASI Pilates is our instructors. All of the instructors at the Model Town studio are certified through the BASI Pilates education program. 10. Do I need to book classes in advance?
We really think it is an idea to book your Pilates classes ahead of time. At Pilates studios the ones with the reformer machines there are not a lot of spots available in each class. This is so each student can get some one-on-one time with the teacher. If you book your Pilates classes ahead of time you can make sure you get a spot, in the available class. Most Pilates studios have a website where you can easily book, change or cancel your Pilates classes if you need to.
